Ghana assistant coach Akwesi Appiah has hailed the qualities of Michael Essien describing him \u201cperfect for any first class team in the world\u201d.<\/p>\n
The Chelsea ace has been on cloud nine for the English giants since he recovered fully from injury and currently a big part of the side challenging Manchester United for the Premier League crown.<\/p>\n
Essien has been on a self imposed exile from the national team after sustaining a career threatening injury during the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola.<\/p>\n
Appiah reckons the former Lyon enforcer remains an integral part of the team by hailing his qualities.<\/p>\n
\u201cEssien is one of the finest players in the world and will fit into any team. Any team will like to have such a talent in their set-up,\u201d Appiah said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI will still insist we should give him some little time to decide on his international future because the young man has been through a lot and it\u2019s only fair he settles and make the best choice.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n
