‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ has been nominated in eight categories for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards.<\/strong><\/p>\n ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ leads the 2011 MTV Movie Awards nominations with nods in eight categories.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The third film in the vampire franchise based on the books by Stephenie Meyer is up for awards including Best Movie, Best Female Performance, Best Villain, Best Jaw-Dropping Moment, Best Fight and Best Kiss while co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will compete in the Best Male Performance category.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n ‘Inception’ starring Leonardo DiCaprio follows closely behind with seven nominations, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1’, ‘The Social Network’ and ‘Black Swan’ have six, five and four nods respectively in the awards voted for by the public.<\/span><\/p>\n A new category – best line from a movie – has been added to the show this year, with ‘Grown Ups’, ‘Easy A’, ‘The Social Network’ and ‘Inception’ all in contention.<\/span><\/p>\n This year’s ceremony will be hosted by ‘Saturday Night Live’ star Jason Sudeikis and will air live on Sunday, June 5, from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Voting for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards is now open at MTV.com and will close on Saturday, June 4.
