Our client SAVANNAH ACCELERATED DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (SADA) is an independent agency mandated by the Government of Ghana to coordinate a comprehensive development agenda for the Northern Savannah Ecological Zone of Ghana. To achieve the agenda of promoting sustainable economic and social development, eradicating poverty, and improving quality of life, SADA seeks experienced professionals to join its senior management team.<\/p>\n

Your role:<\/strong>
Reporting to the Director, Integrated Development Programmes, the Coordinator will be responsible for leading the conceptualisation and implementation of a gender policy, and coordination of social development and gender mainstreaming in all investments<\/p>\n

Duty Location: Tamale and the Northern Savannah Area<\/p>\n

Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

Minimum of Masters degree in social science, development studies, social work or related field
Relevant professional qualification training
Minimum 10 years experience in community development, health, education, gender, youth programming and community mobilisation; 5 of which should be at the senior management level
Experience in working with district assemblies and community-based initiatives
Experience in use of vulnerability assessment tools
Candidates must be literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications<\/p>\n
