A popular businessman at Osei-Kwame near Odorkor is reported to have shot himself dead on Tuesday afternoon in his house.<\/p>\n

It is not clear why Daniel Boadu, about 55, shot himself in the head.<\/p>\n

His son Daniel Owusu told Myjoyonline.com \u201cNobody knows what was wrong with him\u201d.<\/p>\n

Sounding very devastated by the incident, Owusu said he was asleep in his room when he heard a gunshot only to wake up to find the father in a pool of blood with a \u201ccondemned head\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Odorkor Police, he said, have visited the scene and taken the body to Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital for autopsy.<\/p>\n

An eyewitness who spoke to Myjoyonline.com on phone described Mr Boadu as a \u201cwealthy man\u201d who was well known in the area.<\/p>\n

Myjoyonline.com was not able to reach the Odorkor police for confirmation at the time of filing this report.<\/p>\n
