Alice Temperley felt “honoured” to design Pippa Middleton’s dress for the royal wedding reception on Friday night (29.04.11).<\/span><\/p>\n

The brunette beauty – who had earlier in the day wowed the world with her white figure-hugging Alexander McQueen dress as she acted as sister Princess Catherine’s Maid of Honour – once again looked amazing in a floor-length green dress and the designer says it was a privilege being able to work with her.<\/span><\/p>\n

She told vogue.co.uk: “I was honoured that Ms. Pippa Middleton asked us to design her dress for the royal wedding evening reception. Pippa is a beautiful young woman and a delight to work with. She looked incredible and the green colour looks great on her skin tone.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Alice says she and Pippa worked together on the dress as they both wanted to get it just right for the party at Buckingham Palace, following the service at Westminster Abbey.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alice added: “Pippa came into our store in Colville Mews and she fell in love with the Long Arabia dress – we chose a new colour and reworked it with the lovely new back – incorporating new artwork panels with crystals, gold and silver details. We had about four fittings in our private bridal suite in the Mews. We decided on the colour and artwork panels together.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Pippa, 27, has become a worldwide sensation following her white bridesmaid dress, which showed off her stunning figure to perfection.<\/span><\/p>\n

The dress had a beautiful hourglass silhouette, cowl neck and was softened a little with lace edging to her capped sleeves and d\u00c3\u00a9colletage and matched her sister’s McQueen bridal dress perfectly.<\/span><\/p>\n
