\"Michael Bradley left Connacht last season<\/span> <\/p>\n

Michael Bradley will take charge of Edinburgh Rugby next season, replacing interim head coach Nick Scrivener.<\/p>\n

Bradley, capped 40 times by Ireland as a player, is currently assisting the Georgian national side having left Connacht last season.<\/p>\n

Former Ireland and current USA head coach Eddie O’Sullivan had been strongly linked with the post.<\/p>\n

Scrivener is returning to his native Australia after Friday’s final Magners League fixture away to Treviso.<\/p>\n

Former scrum-half Bradley, 48, took over at Connacht in 2003 and has also had spells as head coach of Ireland’s under-21 and ‘A’ teams.<\/p>\n

Edinburgh will announce Bradley’s appointment at a press conference at 1330 BST on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
