LAGOS\u00a0– A Police In spector, a Sergeant and two Constables were,\u00a0 have been arrested in Lagos for allegedly conniving with some persons to steal NITEL underground cables. Sources said the four policemen were attached to Area D Command headquarters, Mushin.<\/p>\n

According to sources, the thieves numbering about seven had arrived a spot along the Isolo road Mushin Weekend,\u00a0 about 50 metres from the Area Command with three vehicles, a Mercedez Benz loaded with large sums of money,\u00a0 a Golf and a big truck assisted by four policemen in a Lagos coloured commercial bus and were about excavating the cables at about 2.00am when they were spotted by some vigilante group.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
