Fire has completely razed down Rainbow Radio, an affiliate station of Adom FM at Sefwi Juaboso in the Western Region.<\/p>\n

The fire which is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault, started around 5pm on Monday when the station was picking live commentary feed of the Glo Premier League from Adom FM.<\/p>\n

Staff of the station helplessly looked on as the whole building was gutted; no fire tender was available.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Juaboso, which is the district capital, has only three fire personnel in attendance and they have no vehicles or tenders. Their only available modes of transportation are motorbikes.<\/p>\n

The General Manager of the station, Joseph Kobina who confirmed the story to Adom News said equipment, ranging from studio mixers to transmitters were all destroyed.<\/p>\n

According to him the fire personnel who arrived on the scene could only look on as the destruction went on until some heavy rains fell and helped to put out the fire.<\/p>\n
