Most people would avoid going to Ikea on a Saturday like the plague.<\/p>\n

But Mollie King is clearly made of stronger stuff as she braved the crowds and headed off to the home furnishings store yesterday.<\/p>\n

The Saturdays singer was snapped pushing a trolley round the north west London branch of the Swedish store near Wembley.<\/p>\n

\"Stocking<\/p>\n

Stocking up: The Saturday’s Mollie King spends yesterday afternoon buying household essentials at Ikea in north London<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Accompanied by a friend, she picked up glasses, tea lights, tea towels and other household essentials.<\/p>\n

And she was dressed for the warm spring weather in a cute denim playsuit and brown wedged heels.<\/p>\n

\n

Definitely need these: Mollie picks up a cutlery holder and a dust pan and brush as she and her friend make their way around the store<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\"What<\/p>\n

What else do I need? Mollie surveys the shelves as she and her friend carry on round the store<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It is believed that she was buying furnishings for her new flat, having split from long-term boyfriend Andy Brown in February.<\/p>\n

Not that she was left lonely for too long, having started a new romance with male model David Gandy.<\/p>\n

\n

These smell nice: Mollie chooses some scented candles and also stocks up on lots of tea lights<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The couple are believed to have met each other at a showbiz event in March and last Wednesday, the new couple stepped out together for their first public date.<\/p>\n

They were snapped, arms around each other, at the Ralph Lauren gala dinner at the Arts Decoratifs museum in Paris as part of the L’art de l’Automobile exhibition of the designer’s collection of historical sports cars.<\/p>\n

\"These<\/p>\n

These are not the ones I wanted: Mollie also returned some plates she had bought as she did a new shop<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

And according to The Sun, Mollie, 23, and David, 31, are getting on famously.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the paper, a source said: ‘It’s early days but so far, so good. They’re having a really good time together.<\/p>\n

‘David’s a few years older than Mollie but you can’t tell. He’s a few inches taller, too.’<\/p>\n

\n

Successful: Having got everything she needed, Mollie headed home<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
