Britain’s Got Talent will move to London tonight, and the judges make clear that they are expecting big things from the capital.<\/p>\n

But some of the most impressive acts in the city came from the smallest people.<\/p>\n

An adorable seven-year-old poet with a fondness for six-foot Boa constrictors and an angel-faced boy, 12, with a showman’s voice lead the best of the London talent.<\/p>\n

With David Hasselhoff away in Australia, X Factor judge Louis Walsh steps in to help Amanda Holden and Michael McIntyre pick the best acts to go through.<\/p>\n

‘I\u2019m here today because Hoff is busy,’ Walsh says. ‘I\u2019m really looking forward to filling Hoff\u2019s big shoes.’<\/p>\n

Michael and Amanda were more focused on the stage.\u00a0 ‘This is London town, this is my town,’ Michael says. ‘I was discovered here after years of trying, but thanks to this show we can source talent fast.’<\/p>\n

Talk to the animals: Olivia makes the judges nervous with a six-foot snake wrapped around her neck<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Amanda adds: ‘I always expect that there\u2019s going to be a high level of excellence here because it\u2019s the capital city of entertainment.’<\/p>\n

First to take the stage is seven-year-old Olivia.<\/p>\n

The confident youngster tells the panel: ‘<\/p>\n

My name is Olivia, I\u2019m seven years old and I\u2019m a school girl.\u00a0 I like poetry.<\/p>\n

‘I would like to perform my poem in front of the Queen and I think she might like it.<\/p>\n

But before Olivia begins she walks off stage and returns with a six-foot boa constrictor snake wrapped around her neck.<\/p>\n

She recites, ‘Look at the world’s most endangered animals and the poisoned dart. The Armur Leopards, Siberian tiger and the polar bear, they’re so gorgeous, it is just not fair!’<\/p>\n

Afterwards, the judges deliberate over their decisions, while hosts Ant and Dec nervously try to hurry them along, concerned that Olivia will be strangled by the powerful reptile.<\/p>\n

Later a young singer who is a rising star in the making is 12-year-old Ronan.<\/p>\n

The stylish youngster, clad in skinny jeans and a scarf and with side-swept, Justin Bieber-style hair, dazzled the audience with a powerful rendition of Nina Simone’s Feeling Good.<\/p>\n

Backstage his parents Maggie and Trevor tell Ant and Dec about their nerves.<\/p>\n

‘I didn\u2019t sleep very well last night.\u00a0 I\u2019ll feel really nervous when he gets on stage,’ Maggie says.\u00a0 ‘I\u2019ll just be really pleased that he\u2019s done something that he wants to do and just hope people like him and they don\u2019t buzz him.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘For a boy of 12 it is a big experience.\u00a0 It takes a lot of courage.’<\/p>\n

\"High<\/p>\n

High expectations: Michael and Amanda have high hopes for London’s talent, while guest judge Louis Walsh steps in for absent David Hasselhoff<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

But it appears as though they have nothing to worry about, with their son receiving cheers and wild applause within seconds of belting out the classic track.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Other acts are not so well received. A dance act based on Star Wars and Michael Jackson \u2013 Darth Dongle and the Princess prove too much for guest judge Louis to make sense of.<\/p>\n

After watching the bizarre act, he says: ‘ I didn\u2019t get it at all.\u00a0 I don\u2019t see the point of the act.\u00a0 Didn\u2019t get it at all. I just don\u2019t get it. I just don\u2019t see anything interesting in the act, I just don\u2019t get it.\u00a0 Is it just me?’<\/p>\n

\"Bizarre:<\/p>\n

Bizarre: Louis says he ‘didn’t get’ a dance act based on Star Wars and Michael Jackson called Darth Dongle and the Princess<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Artist Anthony who removes his trousers to use as a paint brush is buzzed out by the judges before he turns the family show into X-rated viewing, while the judges appear at odds over a ‘Taekwondo remix’ act.<\/p>\n

Louis gets behind the Underground Dance Company \u2013 a 13 strong dance troupe from Burges Hill, all dressed like Edward Scissorhands, dancing to very loud, very fast techno music<\/p>\n

‘I didn\u2019t want it to end. I think the choreography was amazing, I loved the image.\u00a0 I loved it all,’ he enthused.<\/p>\n

But Michael wasn’t so sure: ‘It was kind of wild and scary,’ he says, shaking his head. ‘It was a bit frantic.’<\/p>\n
