She may have married Portia de Rossi in 2008 but Ellen was sharing the love with Lady Gaga on her show broadcast yesterday.<\/p>\n

The chat show host puckered up to the kooky performer after she sang her latest single Judas.<\/p>\n

And it appears that Lady Gaga, 25, was just as happy to be seeing her friend and surprised her with a cake to celebrate their mutual appreciation.<\/p>\n

Pucker up: Ellen DeGeneres jumped in to pose with Lady Gaga at the end of her performance of Judas and the pair shared a kiss together<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The singer- real name Stefani Germanotta \u2013 chose Ellen\u2019s chat show for a world first performance of her new single and decided to celebrate her three-year friendship with the TV personality.<\/p>\n

And Ellen seemed overwhelmed as she thanked the pop singer and said: \u2018You are so sweet and beautiful.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018I love you, you are fantastic,\u2019 she added.<\/p>\n

As well as performing her latest single the 25-year-old singer\u00a0 told Ellen about her upcoming HBO special and she has confessed that even she sometimes feels overwhelmed by her fame – a sentiment documented in her forthcoming HBO special where she plays Madison Square Garden.<\/p>\n

‘That was a huge benchmark moment in my life,’ Gaga explains to Ellen DeGeneres on Thursday’s edition of her talk show.\u00a0 ‘I’m 25 years old. I was asked to play Madison Square Garden.\u00a0 Sold out five nights and quite frankly it’s very overwhelming.’<\/p>\n

Let them eat cake: The Judas singer presented the chat show host with a cake to celebrate their friendship<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

DeGeneres also asks Gaga about her comments, made on the documentary, that she feels like a ‘loser.’<\/p>\n

‘Well, in that moment I was very excited and nervous,’ Gaga explains. ‘Do I feel like a loser sometimes?\u00a0 Yes, of course I do. We all feel like losers sometimes.’<\/p>\n

Earlier, DeGeneres tried to outdo her star guest by arriving on stage atop a giant roller skate.<\/p>\n

‘I’m very upset about your entrance,’ says Gaga.\u00a0 ‘I feel like you’re trying to outdo me. I’ve never done the shoe. I liked the shoe. It was very unexpected.\u00a0 I like unexpected.’<\/p>\n

Gaga arrives on the show looking relatively conservative by her standards – wearing a pair of bright blue PVC flared trousers, and a matching blue top.<\/p>\n

However, Gaga claims she can dress more conservatively.<\/p>\n

Big role: The singer also confirmed that she will be Godmother to Elton John and David Furnish’s son Zachary<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

‘I can wear jeans,’ she tells Ellen. ‘Next time, I’m wearing jeans, sneakers and I’m going to dance all around your stage.’<\/p>\n

But the singer admits she isn’t too conservative when it comes to sleepwear, telling the talk show host that she shuns pyjamas in favour of sleeping in whatever she’s wearing at the time.<\/p>\n

‘It’s very funny,’ she says. My best friends often crash at hotels where I’m at. They will come visit me on the road and they always call me a Beauty Queen disaster. \u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I wake up and my wig’s falling off my head. My mole is on the other side of face.\u00a0 My fake mole, it’s not fake it’s surreal.<\/p>\n

The star, who performs her controversial new single Judas on the show, also confirms to Ellen that she is a Godmother to Elton John and David Furnish’s baby Zachary.<\/p>\n

‘Lady Gaga Presents The Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden’ was recorded during the\u00a0 pop star\u2019s tour stop at the New York City venue. and will air on HBO on May 7.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile the star’s Twitter account appears to have been hacked, according to a tweet the star posted.<\/p>\n

‘Whoever is hacking my twitter must answer to 10 million monsters and Twitter police. #Don”tMakeMeCallTheApostles,’ she wrote.<\/p>\n
