{"id":407322,"date":"2011-04-29T12:03:22","date_gmt":"2011-04-29T12:03:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/04\/29\/sheens-commits-to-tigers\/"},"modified":"2011-04-29T12:03:22","modified_gmt":"2011-04-29T12:03:22","slug":"sheens-commits-to-tigers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/04\/29\/sheens-commits-to-tigers\/","title":{"rendered":"Sheens commits to Tigers"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"56.4533333333\">\n<div readability=\"7\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/4fcc1b45lia_2590887.jpg.jpg\" alt=\"Image text here\" height=\"350px\" width=\"660px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sheens: Will stay in Australia with Wests Tigers<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Australia national coach Tim Sheens has ended speculation linking him with the Widnes job by signing a three-year contract with Wests Tigers.<\/p>\n<p><span>The 60-year-old was reportedly approached by Super League new boys Widnes to take charge on their top-flight-return.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Sheens, who has held the dual role with the Kangaroos and Tigers since 2009, also turned down a four-year deal from NRL side Penrith Panthers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>And he has now committed his future to the Tigers, a club he is into his ninth season with and who he led to their first premiership in 2005.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>&#8220;I&#8217;m really pleased with my decision.
