Rather than her outfit, Royal Wedding guest Tara Palmer-Tomkinson had been highly concerned about the appearance of her nose ahead of the event.<\/p>\n

However, the socialite, 39, appeared groomed to perfection in a brilliant kingfisher blue off-the-shoulder gown, with flowing sleeves, and matching hat and bag.<\/p>\n

Any fears about her ravaged nose appear to have been forgotten, as she waved confidently to the crowds surrounding Westminster Abbey, for the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton’s big day.<\/p>\n

To prepare for the wedding, Tara told the Daily Mail in February: \u2018If I can get my nose fixed for the wedding that would be ideal.<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019m not sure it\u2019s going to be possible but hopefully something can be done in time.\u2019<\/p>\n

Years of cocaine abuse had taken its toll on Tara\u2019s nose some time ago and in 2006 she paid \u00a36,000 to have it rebuilt using cartilage from an ear.<\/p>\n

Joyful day: Tara is a close friend of Prince Charles and his sons William and Harry<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

But recently she admitted that the original surgery had worn out because of \u2018general wear and tear\u2019, leaving it looking squashed and bent.<\/p>\n

So she headed back to a cosmetic surgeon to have fillers injected to give it a straighter, more natural shape.<\/p>\n

Her fillers are said to have cost approximately \u00a3650 with a Harley Street specialist.<\/p>\n

Preparations: Tara was out and about in London today ahead of the wedding, no doubt dealing with final preparations<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

And today Tara seems more than happy with the results as she made a stunning entrance to the highly anticipated event.<\/p>\n

Yesterday the socialite was spotted leaving her house in a figure hugging tight white dress, which she accompanied with a Chanel handbag and grey heels.<\/p>\n

And the close friend of Prince Charles showed off her newly highlighted hairdo.<\/p>\n

Tara was joined at the event today by David and Victoria Beckham, Elton John, singer Joss Stone, Guy Ritchie and Rowan Atkinson.<\/p>\n

Australian Olympic swimmer Ian Thorpe, Welsh rugby player Gareth Thomas and former England footballer Trevor Brooking will also attend.<\/p>\n
