{"id":406710,"date":"2011-04-29T08:23:59","date_gmt":"2011-04-29T08:23:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/04\/29\/country-mali-urge-peace-in-cote-divoire-libya\/"},"modified":"2011-04-29T08:23:59","modified_gmt":"2011-04-29T08:23:59","slug":"country-mali-urge-peace-in-cote-divoire-libya","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/04\/29\/country-mali-urge-peace-in-cote-divoire-libya\/","title":{"rendered":"Country, Mali, Urge Peace in Cote d&#8217;Ivoire, Libya"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"20.8729044834\">\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newdemocratnews.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New Democrat<\/a> (Monrovia)<\/p>\n<p>27 April 2011<\/p>\n<hr class=\"thin clear\" \/>\n<p>President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and her visiting Malian counterpart, Amadou Toumani Toure, have called for peace and ceasefire in Cote d&#8217;Ivoire and Libya.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of his one-day state visit here, President Toure, who recently won his country&#8217;s presidential elections, had bi-lateral discussions with President Sirleaf on several issues.<\/p>\n<p>In their joint Communiqu\u00e9, Presidents Toure and Sirleaf said they regret the violence in Cote d&#8217;Ivoire causing deaths and destruction.<\/p>\n<p>The two leaders therefore called on the fighting forces to embrace the healing process that started since the capture of former President Laurent Gbagbo.
