{"id":405293,"date":"2011-04-28T12:43:20","date_gmt":"2011-04-28T12:43:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/04\/28\/don%e2%80%99t-blame-judiciary-in-dagbon-issue-retired-security-chief-warns\/"},"modified":"2011-04-28T12:43:20","modified_gmt":"2011-04-28T12:43:20","slug":"dont-blame-judiciary-in-dagbon-issue-retired-security-chief-warns-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/04\/28\/dont-blame-judiciary-in-dagbon-issue-retired-security-chief-warns-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Don\u2019t blame judiciary in Dagbon issue-Retired security Chief warns"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"caption\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/d7329bbbyana250x150.jpg.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"The late Ya-Na Yakubu Andani II\" title=\"The late Ya-Na Yakubu Andani II\" align=\"left\" \/>A retired National Security Coordinator, Kofi Bentum Quantson has said that it will be unwise for any President to come to conclusions that failure to find lasting solution to the crisis in Dagbon,is as a result of judicial flaws.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Quantson said the Judiciary cannot be blamed for the inability of the courts to find specifically who the alleged killers of the overlord of Dagbon, Ya-Na Yakubu Andani are. \u201cThe conflict in Dagbon has serious security implications rather than judicial flaws in the judgment,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Adakabre Frimpong Manso on Adom FM\u2019s Dwaso Nsem on Thursday, Mr. Quantson said \u201cit is easy for the security to come out clearly to say the issue is a pure criminal matter\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The former National Security Co-coordinator has also cautioned that the present political atmosphere does not augur well for peaceful elections in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>He said tribal inferences have the tendency of disturbing the peaceful atmosphere in the nation if not checked and stopped immediately.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are also critical issues that would ignite or be ignited if not properly managed.
