Beyonce has recorded a work out song in an attempt to get American children off the sofa for Michelle Obama’s Get Moving campaign.<\/p>\n

The official video sees the star leading a whole school canteen through the routine – though few would recommend anyone follow Beyonce’s lead by attempting the dance in multi-coloured stilettos.<\/p>\n

The Single Ladies singer however looks stunning in the promo, which also sees her sporting wild curly locks, an off-the-shoulder white top, high-waisted denim hotpants, knee-high bright green socks and a necklace featuring Keith Haring designs.<\/p>\n

Work it, lady! Beyonce premiered the Move Your Body work out video for Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign last night<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

With the message ‘a little sweat ain’t never hurt nobody’, the hugely-catchy song and energetic dance routine could see it being played out in playgrounds across the world.<\/p>\n

Called Move Your Body, the 4min 10 song features a host of instructions for different dance moves to an irrestible beat with shades at times of dancehall and latin.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The promo and song were made to promote Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! initiative which aims to get America’s children engaged in physical exercise and eating healthily.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Beyonce explained: ‘It’s all about the benefits of healthy eating and exercise and what we want to do is make it fun by doing something we all like to do and that’s dance.’<\/p>\n

The star revamped her track Get Me Bodied from her 2006 album B’Day for the scheme.<\/p>\n

The infectious song features lyrics including ‘A little sweat ain’t never hurt nobody, Don’t just stand there on the wall, Everybody just move your body.’<\/p>\n

Let’s move! Not many people however would be able to copy Beyonce’s moves in the stilettos she’s wearing<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Moves include the running man and ‘waving the American flag’.<\/p>\n

The clip will be broadcast in schools acrosss the U.S. on May 3 the clip will be broadcast in a number of American schools.<\/p>\n

Beyonce and husband Jay-Z meanwhile have just flown back to the U.S. after spending a few days on holiday in Paris.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The couple’s stay sparked rumours that the pair were set to perform at the Royal Wedding – but sadly, it looks as if the prospect of Beyonce leading the likes of Prince Charles through her work out routine at the reception just isn’t going to happen.<\/p>\n

Beyonce meanwhile is now gearing up to release her next single proper Run The World (Girls), which was released on iTunes last week.<\/p>\n

\"Romantic<\/p>\n

Romantic stroll: Beyonce and husband Jay-Z were in Paris on holiday earlier this week<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As previously revealed by Mail Online, it samples track Pon De Floor by London-based dance act Major Lazer.<\/p>\n

It’s the first single from Beyonce\u2019s up and coming as-yet untitled fourth solo album, due out later this year.<\/p>\n
