Sure, they’ve been chummy over the years.<\/a> But come Feb. 12, Tina Fey<\/a> and Betty White will become competitors as they vie for the 2012 Grammy Award for best spoken word album.<\/p>\n

Both actresses earned Grammy nominations<\/a> Wednesday night for narrating the audiobook versions of their memoirs \u2013 Fey, 41, for Bossypants<\/em>, and White, 89, for If You Ask Me (And Of Course You Won’t)<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Both women, of course, have been nominated for \u2013 and won \u2013 a number of Emmys, but these are their first Grammy nods. <\/p>\n

There are three other nominees in the category \u2013 an audio dramatization of The Mark of Zorro<\/em>, featuring Val Kilmer, among others; a recording of Hamlet<\/em> by the Oregon Shakespeare Festival; and a collection of reminiscences by Beatles fans called Fab Fan Memories: The Beatles Bond<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Jon Stewart won the 2011 Grammy for best spoken word album for The Daily Show With Jon Stewart Presents Earth<\/em>. Michael J. Fox won in 2010 for Always Looking Up<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Future president Barack Obama won in 2006 for Dreams from My Father<\/em>. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
