Former Governor Segun Osoba of Ogun State on Wednesday assured the people of the state that he would not interfere with the administration of the governor-elect, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun.<\/span><\/p>\n

Osoba\u2019s assurance came just as Gen. Adetunji Olurin and Mr Gboyega Isiaka, the PDP and PPN governorship candidates respectively, in the state, conceded defeat to Amosun, claiming they lost gallantly.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI can assure you that the governor (Amosun) will have the freedom to perform his functions within the party\u2019s context. There will be no dictation from anybody. I have no intention of interfering or sitting on his neck.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe will run his government in the way he deems fit and best for the people of Ogun,\u201d Osoba told newsmen at the INEC premises in Abeokuta.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOur people performed wonderfully well and I want to thank them for their patience and loyalty, and for showing love for the ACN and for our candidate, Amosun,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
