Sokoto-Peoples Democratic Party, PDP\u00a0 has won all the 30 seats in the Sokoto State House of Assembly.<\/p>\n

This came as\u00a0 Prince\u00a0 Ahmed M. Maccido and Prince AbdulSalam Ibrahim Dasuki\u00a0 won\u00a0 Tuesday\u2019s election into the Senate and the Sokoto State House of Assembly, respectively.<\/p>\n

Senator Ahmed, who currently represents Sokoto North Senatorial District and who is the son of the late Sultan Muhammadu Maccido, scored the highest votes of 154,932 to beat 18 other\u00a0 candidates to retain his seat at the Senate.<\/p>\n

Election for the Sokoto North Senatorial District was shifted to Tuesday from last Saturday due to the absence of DPP logo on the ballot paper printed by INEC.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
