She’s not a celebrity usually known for her sense of style.<\/p>\n

And today Daybreak presenter Kate Garraway made something of a fashion blunder as she decided to show her support for the Royal Wedding by stepping out in a plunging Union Jack maxi dress.<\/p>\n

The 43-year-old presenter looked delighted with her patriotic outfit as she arrived at the ITV studios this morning.<\/p>\n

Dramatic: But ITV bosses later ruled it was ‘too much’ for her to wear on air<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

However, Daybreak’s Entertainment Editor Garraway later tweeted that ITV bosses had ruled the dress was ‘too much’ for her to wear on air.<\/p>\n

She wrote on her Twitter page: ‘Gettin in the mood 4 the RW – ” powers that be” say ” too much” for on air – what u think??!!’<\/p>\n

An ITV source later said that Garraway’s outfit for Friday is already planned and the presenter was being tongue in cheek with her comments.<\/p>\n

Garraway teamed the low-cut dress, which displayed a dark red bra, with a pair of brown wedges and a white flower in her hair.<\/p>\n

She is just one of the presenters who will be hosting the special edition of Daybreak on Friday when Prince William marries Kate Middleton.<\/p>\n

Talking about her presenting duties, Garraway said: ‘I\u2019ll be at the parties in Kate Middleton\u2019s home village of Bucklebury reporting on all the excitement throughout the day.<\/p>\n

‘I know there are also lots of parties the area I live in and I think it\u2019s great that communities are getting together and celebrating – something that doesn\u2019t usually happen anymore.’<\/p>\n
