She revealed earlier this month that she was a lover of fine wines – and Adele put her money quite literally where her mouth was last night.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old budding oenophile was spotted browsing the bottles at an upmarket wine merchants in London’s Primrose Hill last night before popping round to see James Corden, his fianc\u00e9e Julia Carey and their new baby.<\/p>\n

A staff member who declined to be named told the MailOnline that the Rolling In The Deep singer left with a bottle of red and a bottle of white – but he was so surprised to see the star in his shop he forgot what sort of plonk she purchased.<\/p>\n

The star then left Nicolas on Regents Park Road with her precious cargo and popped around the corner to the Corden household, presumably to wet the baby’s head.<\/p>\n

Both James, 32, and Julia, 31, welcomed their little boy into the world on March 22 and their friend Adele herself had another reason to celebrate.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It emerged yesterday that her current album 21 is set to stay at the top of the UK charts for yet another week.<\/p>\n

Lotta bottle: The star can afford some of the most expensive wines available due to the massive success of her current album<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It returned to No. 1 after a week\u2019s absence last Sunday to let Foo Fighters have a go at the top with Wasting Light, and is now heading towards its 14th week at the top.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, the album was certified seven-times platinum with sales of a massive 2.1million by the British Phonographic Industry.<\/p>\n

She has also trounced the record held by Madonna’s 1990 compilation The Immaculate Collection for most consecutive weeks at No. 1 by a solo female artist, and also holds the record for most non-consecutive weeks by a female artist.<\/p>\n

She’s certainly earned enough money with all those sales to try the very finest wines that money can buy.<\/p>\n

Adele – full name Adele Laurie Blue Adkins told Rolling Stone magazine earlier this month that she was partial to the grape.<\/p>\n

In a discussion about her weight, she said: ‘My life is full of drama and I won’t have time to worry about something as petty as what I look like.<\/p>\n

‘I don’t like going to the gym. I like eating fine foods and drinking nice wine. Even if I had a really good figure, I don’t think I’d get my t*ts and a** out for no one.’<\/p>\n

She would, however, get out her corkscrew…<\/p>\n

Adele is currently enjoying time out catching up with her mates in a break from touring her album.<\/p>\n

She resumes her live dates on May 12 in the U.S., where she’s also topped the charts with 21.<\/p>\n

James and Julia enjoyed their first night out since becoming parents at Adele’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire show last week, which was the last of her UK dates.\u00a0<\/p>\n
