Gavin Henson’s agent Matt Ginvert has told Scrum V the centre will meet Toulon representatives on Wednesday lunchtime following his suspension.<\/strong><\/p>\n

French press reports have suggested Henson’s ill-fated Toulon career is over after only two games. He has not played for Wales since 2009.<\/p>\n

Toulon have not yet made an official comment on Henson’s future.<\/p>\n

Henson was suspended for a week following a nightclub incident earlier in April.<\/p>\n

Toulon president Mourad Boudjellal has said Henson was “difficult to manage”.<\/p>\n

A report in the L’Equipe newspaper on Tuesday<\/a> reported he would not play for Toulon again.<\/p>\n

Henson moved to France in February after a short spell with Saracens, but made only two appearances before the incident, which followed a win over Toulouse.<\/p>\n

“Henson has had an attitude which has been difficult to manage,” admitted Boudjellal on Friday.<\/p>\n

Boudjellal insisted Henson would be granted a fair hearing but conceded he has had problems with a player who has courted controversy throughout his career.<\/p>\n

“This week I have tried to find out what happened because I have to make a decision which is the most objective possible,” added Boudjellal.<\/p>\n

“I think I know now what happened, so I will make decisions on Monday. We are not here to back him into a corner. He is a boy who makes mistakes sometimes. He’s not the only one in rugby. There are others.”<\/p>\n

Henson scored a try on his Toulon debut against Stade Francais but missed the side’s match against Perpignan on 23 April.<\/p>\n

“It’s a disappointment because he’s a great player. I’m sure he would have had a good match on Saturday,” said Boudjellal ahead of that game.<\/p>\n

“You can tell that he’s a great player.<\/p>\n

“He’s a cut above and makes me think of Sonny Bill Williams. They are boys who are cuts above. But sometimes they hit rock bottom.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n
