JUDGMENT in the case of businessman Temba Mliswa, who is accused of sending threatening messages to Noshio Motors director Paul Westwood after allegedly seizing shares worth more than US$1 million in the firm, will be delivered next month.<\/p>\n

Mliswa, who is represented by Mr Charles Chinyama yesterday, appeared before Regional magistrate Mr Morgen Nemadire who deferred the judgement to May 27.<\/p>\n

Judgment in the matter was supposed to be passed yesterday.<\/p>\n

However, Mr Nemadire said he had not finished writing the judgment.<\/p>\n

Mliswa is alleged to have said he could make Westwood “disappear” and hired bouncers to man Noshio’s premises in Msasa.<\/p>\n

It is the State’s case that on December 18, 2009 Westwood was at the company premises when Mliswa and Nigel Godknows Murambwa arrived.<\/p>\n

Mliswa allegedly claimed ownership of the company saying his take-over was in line with Government’s indigenisation policies.<\/p>\n

Mliswa, the State claims, said he now held 51 percent of the firm and when Westwood resisted this, the accused threatened him with death.<\/p>\n

He allegedly told Westwood he would never see his family again and then went on to tell workers he was now in charge.<\/p>\n

It is also alleged that Mliswa began to send threatening text messages to the complainant.<\/p>\n

The State says in January 2010, Mliswa used his cellphone (number 0912 572 504) to send a message to Westwood (011 202 755) which read: “Hi and hapi new year . . . am disappointed in your approach in dealing with any issues which u feel need remedy . . .<\/p>\n

“Why cant u just tok to me as we had agreed. I suggest u stick 2 my advice Paul b4 its 2 late . . . plenty skeletons in your wardrobe, warn u . . . stop it and nw!”<\/p>\n
