She’s had nothing but heartbreaking and sinister experiences with men during her time on the Square.<\/p>\n

But thankfully life isn’t imitating art for Shona McGarty who seems to be doing rather well when it comes to relationships in real life.<\/p>\n

Although it would appear that a piece of her work life has crossed over in to her personal life after all as she is believed to be dating her former on-screen boyfriend.<\/p>\n

\"Young<\/p>\n

Young love: EastEnders star Shona McGarty and her former co-star Ashley Kumar are snapped cosying up in a north London bar<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Shona, 19, and actor Ashley Kumar, 24, were snapped enjoying a cosy night out at a bar in north London over the Easter weekend.<\/p>\n

And they were caught kissing and cuddling in together as they partied until the small hours, with Shona showing off her curves in a figure-hugging white dress.<\/p>\n

Shona plays troubled teenager Whitney Dean, while Kumar played her love-interest and reoccurring character Todd Taylor.<\/p>\n

Todd was a character that dated Whitney on and off until she left him because she was in love with another boy.<\/p>\n

But it would appear that the two young actors kept the flame alive long after the cameras stopped rolling and Kumar’s character finally left the Square last February.<\/p>\n

And they didn’t seem to care who saw them as they snuggled up and shared a kiss in the bar in front of other patrons.<\/p>\n

Party girl: Shona, who showed off her curves in a clingy white dress, chatted to a friend outside the bar<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Shona has been involved in a couple of controversial storylines since she joined the EastEnders cast in April 2008.<\/p>\n

The first started soon after she arrived when it was revealed she had been groomed by her adoptive mother Bianca’s paeodophile partner Tony.<\/p>\n

And more recently, Whitney was involved in a storyline that saw her become a teenage prostitute after meeting a man who groomed her into a life of vice.<\/p>\n
