Rwanda’s APR star Jean Baptista Mugiraneza has given Young Africans coach Sam Timbe encouragement to go ahead with a planned move to Jangwani street club next season.<\/p>\n

The midfield maestro has scored 11 goals in 14 league games to maintain APR’s 100 per cent record and reports from Yanga suggest that the Mainland Champions have made the Rwandese star among their top signing priority along with another midfield dynamo diminutive Haruna Niyonzima also from APR.<\/p>\n

According to The Times of Rwanda the league top scorer Mugiraneza a.k.a Migi is flattered by news that has been linked him to a possible move to Tanzania league champions. While he has not denied these rumours, he insists that for now, he is committed to the army side.<\/p>\n

“Of course I feel honoured to be linked to Yanga because they are one of the best teams in the region,” he said before adding, “But for now, I’m entirely focused at helping APR defend the Primus league title, Peace Cup as well as Cecafa Kagame Cup.”<\/p>\n

Yanga were crowned Vodacom Tanzania Premier league champions some two weeks ago, after edging arch rivals Simba by one goal differtence on the final day of the season.<\/p>\n

Yanga who are out to reinforce their squad for nexct season’s CAF Champions League and top flight league are reportedly to have already snatched custodian Said Mohammed from relegated side Majimaji of Songea, JKT Ruvu’s Pius Kisambale and defender Godfrey Taita from Kagera Sugar.<\/p>\n
