Daniel Opare wants to become a Black Stars regular<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ghana youth defender Daniel Opare is aiming to earn a permanent place in the Black Stars set- up following a solid rock second half display against England. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The 20-year-old acquitted himself when he was introduced into the game in the second half to replace the unimpressive Lee Addy and he stopped the surging run of Stewart Downing.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a wonderful for me and a chance to prove what I can do and I think did well and this is what I need to serve as a motivation for me,\u201d Opare told GHANAsoccernet.com<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s important it doesn\u2019t get over myself and continue to train hard so I get a permanent place in the team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Opare has been in awesome form for Standard Liege in the Belgian League since joining from Real Madrid last summer.<\/p>\n

He played a bit-part role in Ghana\u2019s winning of the 2009 Fifa Under-20 World Cup in Egypt.<\/p>\n
