UGHELLI\u00a0 \u2013 GUBERNATORIAL candidate of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in Delta State, Chief Ovie Omo-Agege, has warned against all forms of electoral malpractice in the forthcoming elections, saying that those who plan\u00a0 to perpetrate such acts would meet their waterloo.<\/p>\n

Omo-Agege, who spoke during a\u00a0 media dialogue organised by the Delta State NUJ in his Orogun country home, said the political consciousness of Deltans had grown rapidly. He added that people were determined to discard the culture of incompetence and greed.<\/p>\n

Promising to build two model schools in each of the 25 local government areas of f the state,\u00a0 if elected, he said his vision was to revamp the educational institutions in the state.<\/p>\n

According to him,\u00a0 under his administration, every child of school age would have access to qualitative education, reiterating that his government, if given the mandate, would offer free education to students at all levels.<\/p>\n

He expressed his readiness to offer free health care services to the people of the state and also revive the sector in the state. He added that\u00a0 the moribund government-owned industries would be revamped and taken over by private investors with a view to enhancing job creation for the teeming unemployed youths in the state.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cthe ACN had given us a template of development, which is why\u00a0 the party is succeeding in Edo, Lagos and other ACN, controlled states because of the good template the party had handed down to the Governors.\u201d<\/p>\n

Omo-Agege promised to ensure security of lives and property of the people of the state, which would be anchored on community policing. He promised to\u00a0 embarked on urban renewal scheme, which would lead to the construction of 300 housing units in each of the three senatorial districts of the state and an additional 300 units in the state capital, Asaba.<\/p>\n
