MILWAUKEE (AP)\u2014Milwaukee Bucks<\/a> guard Michael Redd<\/a>(notes)<\/a><\/span> will suit up against the
\nChicago Bulls<\/a> on Saturday night and may play his first NBA game in more than 14
\nmonths.<\/p>\n

Redd tore ligaments in his left knee each of the previous two seasons, most
\nrecently in January 2010\u2014just 18 games after he returned from his previous
\nknee injury. Redd played a total of only 51 games in the previous two seasons.<\/p>\n

Redd said he\u2019s excited and nervous about the possibility of returning to the
\ncourt.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust to have a game ball in my hand, and a game jersey on, my shoes on,
\njust go through the national anthem,\u201d Redd said. \u201cJust all the buildup. Once I
\nget out there, I\u2019m sure I\u2019ll be fine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bucks coach Scott Skiles says Redd is in excellent condition, but his timing
\nis a little off after being out so long.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s able to play,\u201d Skiles said. \u201cWhether he plays or not, that I don\u2019t
\nknow. We\u2019ll see how the game is going, just like any player that\u2019s been out that
\nlength of time. If we feel like he can go in the game and he can help us in a
\nsituation then we\u2019ll put him out there.\u201d<\/p>\n

And even if Skiles does put Redd in the game Saturday, he won\u2019t be expecting
\nmuch out of him right away.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we do play him, it won\u2019t be for very long anyway,\u201d Skiles said.
\n\u201cIt\u2019ll definitely be single-digits in minutes. But we\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n

Redd says he\u2019s willing to play whatever role Skiles wants him to in order to
\nhelp the team make a push for the playoffs.<\/p>\n

\u201cI told (Skiles) it\u2019s about the team, my mentality\u2014if I play, if I don\u2019t
\nplay,\u201d Redd said. \u201cAll I care about is the team being successful.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p>\n
