We know a lot of their players and they will be able to raise their game.

“They’ve lost the previous three games but make no mistake, this won’t be like any of the previous three games.

“It will be a derby and a lot of times the underdog can come through and win and we’ve got to make sure that doesn’t happen.”

The Tottenham man think the Welsh crowd will play a huge part in the match and he can’t wait to experience the atmosphere inside the Millennium Stadium.

Crouch added: “It’s a massive game for Wales in front of their own fans but it is for us as well. We can’t wait to sample that atmosphere.”

Despite his impressive goalscoring form in international games, Crouch has failed to nail down a spot in Fabio Capello’s starting XI and is likely to miss out as the England boss is set to start with Wayne Rooney and Andy Carroll on Saturday.

However, the striker is confident that if he gets more chances to impress the Italian he will continue to improve his record and hopefully become a first choice section.

“I’ve always been proud of my goal record for England and, when given the opportunity, I don’t think I’ve let anyone down,” he said. “Hopefully I get more opportunities in the future.”

See the original post here:
Peter Crouch believes England should be wary of ‘underdogs’ Wales

By Simon Sinclair 24 Mar 2011 14:06:00 WCQ: Peter Crouch, England – Ukraine (PA) Related Links Teams Players Peter Crouch believes England should not take Wales lightly despite their recent poor form and thinks Saturday’s opponents will be up for the challenge of playing Fabio Capello ‘s side.
