{"id":332992,"date":"2011-03-23T20:43:19","date_gmt":"2011-03-23T20:43:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/03\/23\/nla-wins-high-court-decision-to-carry-on-with-new-commission-regime\/"},"modified":"2011-03-23T20:43:19","modified_gmt":"2011-03-23T20:43:19","slug":"nla-wins-high-court-decision-to-carry-on-with-new-commission-regime","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/03\/23\/nla-wins-high-court-decision-to-carry-on-with-new-commission-regime\/","title":{"rendered":"NLA Wins High Court Decision To Carry On With New Commission Regime"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><div>An Accra High court on Wednesday dismissed the Application for Interlocutory Injunction restraining the National Lottery Authority from reducing the commission payabale to Lotto recevers (the Plaintiffs) from 25% to 20%. <\/p>\n<p>In dismissing the Application, the Court noted that the Plaintiffs had failed to establish that they had a legal right which would or had been violated by the Defendants (National Lottery Authority). <\/p>\n<p>Further the Court affirmed the provisions of Section 28 of the National Lotto Act, 2006 (ACT 722) which empowers the Board of the National Lottery Authority to determine the commission paid to Lotto Marketing Companies from time to time.
