He was a self-confessed sex addict who romped up to 20 times a week before meeting and marrying pop Princess Katy Perry. <\/p>\n

But since he tied the knot Russell Brand has been spending less time between the sheets and more time out in the garden.<\/p>\n

The reformed lothario made the shocking revelations that following his nuptials to the 25-year-old singer five months ago he has turned his hand to horticulture. <\/p>\n

The 35-year-old funnyman said: \u2018I can\u2019t believe I used to have sex 20 times a week, especially now I\u2019m married. But now I\u2019m a bloody good gardener.\u2019<\/p>\n

Discussing his sexual activity peak he said that he had it around five times a day and conceded that amount of intercourse was \u2018probably a bit much\u2019.<\/p>\n

The comedian made the revelations in an interview for Piers Morgan\u2019s Life Stories show and he also revealed that he and wife Katy would like to start a family in the future.<\/p>\n

He said: \u2018Yeah children, that\u2019d be good, wouldn\u2019t it?\u2019<\/p>\n

Changed man: Russell Brand told Piers Morgan that he would like children with Katy and would focus on that when the time came <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He added: \u2018We haven\u2019t been married for very long, we\u2019re both working very hard and I\u2019m still excited and enchanted by her but when we do I\u2019m going to focus on it.\u2019<\/p>\n

When the couple do hear the pitter patter of tiny feet Russell has also thought about his own unique brand of parenting. <\/p>\n

He said: \u2018I\u2019m aware I have no recourse if they misbehave. \u201cExpelled from school for drugs? Well done you\u2019re on target.\u201d\u2019<\/p>\n

But while Brand was gushing about his wife he also admitted that he did sometimes find it difficult to adapt to being a husband and living with Katy. <\/p>\n

He said: \u2018It\u2019s difficult getting used to one person and being in the same house everyday.\u2019<\/p>\n

Russell, who is known for his trademark backcombed bouffant, also revealed that he was shocked to learn how long Katy takes to get ready \u2013 adding that he was never normally present for that part before. <\/p>\n

He said: \u2018She takes ages to get ready. It\u2019s unbelievable. I had no idea what went on, I was never normally around for that bit.\u2019<\/p>\n

But while Russell was open about the difficulties he has experience since becoming a husband he was quick to quash rumours the couple had been seeking professional help in the form of marriage counseling. <\/p>\n

The funnyman, who has recently been filming his latest movie Arthur, also opened up about how he revealed his womanizing past to Katy after falling for her after their meeting at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. <\/p>\n

Talking about his past, the former heroin and alcohol addict said: \u2018I don\u2019t think she knew the extremes of it because I wasn\u2019t famous in America. I told her like an idiot, as I was so dazzled by the change.\u2019<\/p>\n

But while he has committed himself to Katy and is planning on making it a life time commitment he approaches his fidelity one day at a time, in the same way way he has combated his drug and alcohol addictions. <\/p>\n

He said: \u2018Don\u2019t look at things as in \u201crest of life\u201d. Of course marriage is for life and that\u2019s what I wanted but anything for the rest of life can be daunting.\u2019<\/p>\n

But he maintained the pop star is the only person he has been in love with and said:’I’ve never been in love before Katy, as now I rate love as being willing to change for someone.’<\/p>\n
