MASHONDA:<\/strong> I got it a year after everything started going downhill. It\u2019s a reminder to me that I have to be loyal to myself for once.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Elaborate, please.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I was so loyal to everyone, and I totally forgot about me. This is what it represents\u2014it represents loyalty to self. Now I have to do things that I love to do, and I have to make myself happy, because I don\u2019t really agree when people say, \u201cI need a man \u2019cause I want to be happy,\u201d or \u201cI\u2019m not happy because I don\u2019t have a man.\u201d That\u2019s not where it starts. Happiness starts from within, and that\u2019s in my focus.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

You\u2019re also focused on Love & Hip-Hop. <\/em>So the show does not revolve around you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Exactly. I did a few episodes first, then ended up doing a lot of episodes because the chemistry was perfect with me and Emily. I ended up being a recurring guest, and it worked out perfectly, because I\u2019m on the show and people get to see me and hear my stories. But it\u2019s not like a character that\u2019s 100 percent there.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

What is your role with Emily?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m like her support system, her counselor. I feel like a female Dr. Phil. That person who gives her advice and is not afraid to tell her my story and show her my life, \u2019cause I really want her to get hers together.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

How are you going to handle all the groupies that are sure to be coming your way?<\/strong><\/p>\n

You mean the groupie boys?<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Or groupie girls. You never know.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yeah, you never know. I mean, they all love me.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

After they see this spread, they\u2019ll love you more. Word to Angela Winbush. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Laughs<\/em> Oh, Lord, you know what, I show everybody love. But I don\u2019t like the word \u201cgroupie\u201d\u2014it\u2019s so harsh. I don\u2019t feel there\u2019s anything wrong with one person admiring another person.<\/p>\n

Who is admiring you nowadays? Have you\u2019ve been hitting the dating scene lately?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have. I recently went on a date, and it was incredible.<\/p>\n
