NEWARK, N.J. (AP)\u2014New Jersey rookie forward Damion James<\/a>(notes)<\/a><\/span> was expected to
\nmiss the Nets\u2019 game with the Indiana Pacers<\/a> on Monday night with a sore right
\nfoot.<\/p>\n

Coach Avery Johnson says the starting small forward had some tenderness in
\nthe foot and will be evaluated by team doctors later Monday night. The Texas
\nproduct missed 34 games after breaking the foot in December.<\/p>\n

James insisted nothing is seriously wrong with the foot, and he is being
\nheld out as a precaution. He said he had \u201cblood\u201d treatment on the foot
\nrecently and it is tender when he moves sometimes.<\/p>\n

James is averaging 4.4 points and 3.4 rebounds in 25 games, including nine
\nstarts.<\/p>\n

Johnson also said that point guard Ben Uzoh<\/a>(notes)<\/a><\/span> will be recalled from
\nSpringfield, Mass. of the D-League on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p>\n
