President John Evans Atta-Mills has nominated Captain Anthony R. Cudjoe (Rtd) as the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) for the Sekondi-Takoradi.<\/p>\n

He would be replacing Mr. Kobina Pra Annan.<\/p>\n

The nomination is in line with Section 243 (1) of the 1992 Constitution and Act 462 Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993.<\/p>\n

Mr. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, in a press release on Sunday, said President Mills had also directed the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development to order a forensic audit into the finances of the assembly between 2009 and 2011.<\/p>\n
