The country&#8217;s other representative Eric Sebahire finished a distant 72nd.<\/p>\n<p>Marga became the new champion after beating the Kenyan trio of Paul Tanui, Vincent Kiprop and Mathew Kisorio.<\/p>\n<p><!-- close google_inset_a div ---><\/p>\n<p>None the less, it was an improved performance from Hakizimana, who finished 42nd in 2009 (Amman) and 77th in 2007 (Mombasa).<\/p>\n<p>In the women category, Kenya&#8217;s Vivian Cheruiyot won her first gold medal in the senior category after beating off a stiff challenge from fellow teammate Linet Masai and two-time silver medalist and Shalane Flanagan from USA.<\/p>\n<p>Claudette Mukasakindi and Angelline Nyiransabimana finished outside the top 30.<\/p>\n<p><strong>39th World X country Championship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Junior race<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women (6km)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.Faith Chepngetich (Ken) 18.53<\/p>\n<p>2.Genet Yalew (Eth) 18.54<\/p>\n<p>3.
