Officially, no one has informed me of my transfer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Supt.  Ofori intimated that having served in various capacities and in  different regions, he is prepared to discharge his duties effectively  wherever he will find himself within the service.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a humble  public servant, I am prepared to serve anywhere and any place in the  country faithfully to the best of my ability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It has been  alleged that there are text messages circulating around that the  Director of Public Affairs Directorate is heading to the north to  continue his service there, but Supt. Ofori told <strong>Myjoyonline.com<\/strong> he was yet to receive or sight any of such text messages.<\/p>\n<p>However,  Supt. Kwasi Ofori reiterated: \u201cI am not indispensable and I can serve  anywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, reliable information <strong>Myjoyonline.com<\/strong> picked at the corridors of the police headquarters point to the fact  that there is power struggle within the service and this might be one of  the moves being adopted by his detractors to get him out of office.<\/p>\n<p>A  police officer who pleaded anonymity blamed the media for failing to  crosscheck the authenticity of such story before going public.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe  man is always with you people, you could have just called him to  confirm.
