Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Boss Nyaho Tamakloe has made a mockery of Messrs Vincent Sowah Odotei and Neil Armstrong’s ambitions of ascending the GFA presidential seat.

Vincent Sowah Odotei and Neil Armstrong have announced their candidature for the GFA presidential seat which is currently being occupied by Lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi.

The two persons have been canvassing for votes in a bid to unseat Lawyer Nyantakyi in an election which is expected to come on later in the year.

But Mr. Tamakloe is of the opinion that the pair would not make any impact in the elections, stressing, “They are going to waste their money because they can’t win.”

According to the former GFA president Messrs Odotei and Armstrong would not only waste their money in an election that they don’t have a chance of winning; but would also waste their precious time campaigning.

He wondered why Mr. Odotei who lost horribly to Lawyer Nyantakyi in the last polls would try to contest him again at a time that “Mr. Nyantakyi is riding high both in the country and on the African continent”.

Mr. Tamakloe predicted a landslide victory for sitting GFA head Kwesi Nyantakyi in the upcoming GFA elections, saying, “Nyantakyi’s enviable record as GFA Boss will help him win the polls.”

He observed that Mr. Nyantakyi, aside his hard working nature, is also a good administrator. “I once worked with him for about two years and I marveled at his potential.”

Mr. Tamakloe noted also that politically, Mr. Nyantakyi is matured. “He was recently provoked to the highest level by his detractors but he handled the matter with maturity.”

Still on the upcoming GFA polls, he said Mr. Nyantakyi would amass most of the votes from the electorate because they know his capabilities and vision for Ghana soccer.

Mr. Tamakloe said also that Lawyer Nyantakyi is approachable and comfortable to work with; therefore the electorate would not hesitate to retain him in office to continue his good works.
