At a news conference held at Tishigu in Tamale, Adam Abdul Fatawu, Chairman of
the Tamale NPP young Patriots group said the party will suffer another electoral defeat in 2012 if the party leadership fails to endorse the Nana-Bawumia ticket.

He described Dr. Mahamoud Bawumia as an intergenerational leader whose expertise as a renowned economist will in no doubt fix Ghana’s economy which according to him has been in shamble since the NDC took over power in 2008.

“It will be prudent in maintaining Dr. Bawumia since all the billboards, banners and T-Shirts used in the elections 2008 could still be used in view of the financial status of the party in opposition: also merging the legal brains of our flag bearer Nana Addo and that of Dr. Bawumia who is an astute economist will be appropriate in championing our beloved country Ghana’s socio-economic development” Adam Abdul Fatawu assured.

Adam Abdul Fatawu explained that maintaining the Nana-Bawumia ticket will save the party from spending huge sums of money to raise billboards and print new T-Shirts if there is going to be change of running mate to partner Nana Addo.

He lambasted the President John Evans Atta Mills led NDC government for bestowing economic hardships on Ghanaians for which reason a Nana-Bawumia ticket will be the best for the country in 2013.

See the original post:

A youth wing of opposition New Patriotic Party in Tamale calling itself the Young Patriots have kicked against calls on Nana Akufo-Addo to select the former Trade and Industry Minister, Mr Alan Kyeremanteng as running mate for the 2012 general elections.

["post-300159","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard
<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.0 -
