I think he played the first 11 or 12 games having come out of the Belgian First Division when he&#8217;s only 22-years-old.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know what he&#8217;s capable of in training because we watch him but he looked very assured and when he&#8217;s produced a performance like he has today, that&#8217;ll give him great confidence going forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bruce also had kind words for the man between the posts for the Gunners, after Wojciech Szczesny recovered well from his League Cup final nightmare to make a vital save from Danny Welbeck.<\/p>\n<p>He stated: \u201cTheir goalkeeper produced a great save &#8211; after what happened last week I&#8217;m pleased for him &#8211; not pleased that he saved it &#8211; but football is cruel. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe lost a cup final last week and he&#8217;ll have been beating himself up but he&#8217;s made a great save and kept Arsenal in the match today.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the first half in particular we gave as good as we got.
