Police are searching for five men suspected to be plotting to kill Weija MP, Shirley Ayokor Botchway.<\/p>\n
Sometime this week, the five were reported to be hatching the assassination plot at a drinking spot at Mile 7 in Accra.<\/p>\n
Highly placed police sources confirmed the information to Joy News but would not go on record.<\/p>\n
Joy News sources say the owner of the spot eavesdropped on the conversation and exposed the suspects.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, the men fled the spot. A report was subsequently made to police at Mile 7.<\/p>\n
The sources tell Joy News the Tesano police are not leaving anything to chance in handling this matter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
