Mick Jagger is reportedly working on a new album with Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart.<\/p>\n
The Rolling Stones frontman is said to be working on his first material since his main bands’ last studio album, ‘A Bigger Bang’, in 2005. <\/p>\n
Although details are scant, Mick’s brother, Chris, told Portuguese website RTP: “He’s doing a record at the moment in Los Angeles with Dave Stewart, he called me last night telling me what he was doing.”<\/p>\n
Dave is best known as one half of ‘Sweet Dreams’ pop group Eurythmics with Annie Lennox, but he is also a successful record producer, working with The Beatles’ Ringo Starr, Tom Petty and Bob Geldof, among others. <\/p>\n
Dave has worked with Mick on a number of occasions, co-writing and producing his 1987 ‘Primitive Cool’ album and later collaborating with him on the track ‘Old Habits Die Hard’ for the 2004 film ‘Alfie’.<\/p>\n
Rumours The Rolling Stones will return to playing live imminently were quashed earlier this month when the group released a statement saying they have “no firm plans to tour” in 2011. <\/p>\n
