A recording of Paula Abdul calling 911 on Valentine\u2019s Day has hit the web, with the former Idol host crying on the 101 freeway that her boyfriend wouldn\u2019t let her out of the car. \u201cI wanna go, and he won\u2019t let me!\u201d she shrieked, yelling to the driver, \u201cAre you gonna drop me off \u2019cause I have emergency on the phone!\u201d She quickly announces \u201che\u2019s dropping me off\u201d and ends the call, but cops were concerned enough to call her back and visit her home that night. <\/p>\n

Abdul refused to file a police report and swore the argument was strictly verbal.<\/p>\n

\u201cArguments with loved ones are often times heated,\u201d Abdul\u2019s rep told TMZ, \u201cAfter the call was made everything was worked out.\u201d Abdul was reportedly already in a \u201cdevastated\u201d state over the imminent cancellation of Live To Dance\u2014was she in genuine danger or merely hysterical?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
