US pop star Pink had a laugh at the expense of Burlesque songstress Christina Aguilera in a jokey comment posted on Twitter.<\/p>\n
Pink, 31, tweeted yesterday, “Out of Myself, Britney, and Christina- didn’t everyone think I was gonna be the troublemaker? LOOK MA!!! No CUFFS!!!”<\/p>\n
Pink’s message followed Aguilera’s arrest yesterday after police stopped a car being driven by her boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, who police claim was driving erratically.<\/p>\n
Mr Rutler was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and once police realised his Grammy Award-winning passenger was “not capable of taking care of herself and was incapacitated”, she was also taken into custody around 2.45am local time for her own safety, according to LA County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Steve Whitmore.<\/p>\n
She was “not belligerent, just intoxicated”, he said.<\/p>\n
Aguilera was placed in a cell at the county jail shortly afterward and monitored for about four hours. Once she could “fend for herself” the 30-year-old songstress asked to leave and was released, Mr Whitmore said.<\/p>\n
Aguilera’s boyfriend, 25-year-old Mr Rutler, was accused of driving under the influence after a breath test showed that his blood alcohol level was .09, above California’s legal limit of .08.<\/p>\n
He was released yesterday on bail set at $5000 and is expected to be formally charged.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
