Christina Hendricks says she feels more protective of her husband Geoffrey Arend since they got married.<\/b><\/p>\n

Christina Hendricks feels “protective” of her husband.<\/p>\n

The ‘Mad Men’ actress – who married actor Geoffrey Arend in October 2009 – admits since tying the knot she has developed even more “intense” feelings of love for her partner.<\/p>\n

She said: “Married life suits us, it’s very good. Everyone said I would feel different after I got married and I didn’t really know how it would manifest itself in our relationship.<\/p>\n

“But I think there’s an even more intense feeling of wanting to love each other and be protective.”<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old beauty also explained she chooses not to get “caught up in the glamour and craziness” of Los Angeles by surrounding herself with close family and friends.<\/p>\n

Christina added to Stylist magazine: “Los Angeles is a very large city. You can get caught up in the glamour and craziness or you can find a great group of friends and stick with them. We’ve got a family of friends and we go out and do all the celebrating with the people from the show. But we also do our own thing.”<\/p>\n
