Aston Villa<\/a> attacker Ashley Young<\/a> has reiterated his stance that he won’t talk about a possible contract extension at the club until the end of the season.<\/p>\n

The England international has only 16 months left on his contract in the Midlands and is a rumoured target for Liverpool and more recently Manchester United.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old, who scored twice in Villa’s 4-1 win over Blackburn at the weekend, is believed to have doubts over Villa’s ambitions, despite the \u00a330 million double swoop for Darren Bent and Jean Makoun in the January transfer window and won’t offer guarantees about staying with Gerard Houllier’s side.<\/p>\n

“I have always said I will leave talks until the end of the season and that’s how it is,” Young told The Sun<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“Every time I pull on the shirt I go out to give 110 per cent for Villa.<\/p>\n

“I am delighted to be playing in the position I am in, just behind the main striker, and doing well for the team.”<\/p>\n
