CEO of the Ghana Free Zones Board, Mr. Kwadwo Twum Boafo, has taken a swipe at fanatics of flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, referring to them as \u201c
sociopathic apologists<\/b>\u201d, and has cautioned them to stop ascribing their own interpretations to ex-President Kufuor\u2019s stance on the \u201call-die-be-die<\/b>\u201d remark when he referred journalists to go and ask the originator of the statement. <\/p>\nMr. Twum Boafo noted that since the infamous statement, hardly does a day pass by without these \u201capologists\u201d of Nana Addo giving their own interpretations to the statement, adding that there has been some \u201ctwenty thousand\u201d explanations to Nana Addo\u2018s \u201call-die-be-die<\/b>\u201d comment.<\/p>\n
Speaking in an interview with Alhassan Suhini on Radio Gold<\/b>, the Free Zones Board CEO urged members of the NPP fraternity to advice their presidential candidate to \u201cstop ethnically dividing this country\u201d with his speeches.<\/p>\n
To him, it is difficult to understand why Nana Addo together with \u201chis gang of brigands and buccaneers would think that anybody wants to die for him to be president.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOn behalf of my generation, I believe some of us are very young and would not want to die,\u201d Mr. Boafo said.<\/p>\n
A member of the ruling government\u2019s Communication Team, Kwadwo Twum Boafo strongly asserted that the NPP flagbearer has an unsurpassed record of \u201cviolence and belligerence that no active politician in this country has.\u201d <\/p>\n
Whiles alluding to an incident in 1996 where he accused Nana Akufo-Addo of active involvement in sporadic firing of guns shots on the streets of Kyebi, the Free Zones Board Boss catalogued a litany of incidents to buttress his assertions that the NPP\u2019s presidential candidate is miles away from being regarded as a unifier.<\/p>\n
