Cristiano Ronaldo could be about to become a father for the second time amid rumours his stunning girlfriend is pregnant.<\/p>\n

The football star, 26, is said to be preparing a summer wedding after proposing to underwear model Irina Shayk on Valentine’s Day.<\/p>\n

And reports in his native Portugal claim the 25-year-old Russian may be expecting their child.<\/p>\n

\nand the pair are said to be planning a summer wedding<\/p>\n

Newspaper Correio da Manha said she had been seen sporting a small bump – as well as showing off her diamond engagement ring.<\/p>\n

A friend of the ex-Manchester United star told the paper: ‘Cristiano loves being a father. <\/p>\n

Although they weren’t planning having a baby so soon, the truth is that nothing makes him happier than his son.<\/p>\n

‘And the birth of the boy awakened Irina’s desire to become a mother.<\/p>\n

‘They had been talking about marriage. Cristiano wanted something
\nvery special and romantic, and on Valentine’s Day he travelled to New
\nYork to surprise Irina.<\/p>\n

‘He asked her to marry her.’ The friend said Ronaldo’s mum Dolores
\nwants the couple to marry in the footballer’s home town of Funchal, on
\nthe Portuguese island of Madeira.<\/p>\n

The friend said: ‘At the
\nmoment there are lots of options open, but if it were down to Ronaldo’s
\nmother the wedding would be in Madeira.<\/p>\n

‘Getting married and having a family has always been one of his objectives, and the time has come.<\/p>\n

‘He’s always talking about Irina, and you can see in his eyes how much he loves her.” Ronaldo is said to have jetted 4,000 miles from Barcelona to New York to propose on Valentine’s Day.<\/p>\n

Ronaldo jetted to the US on February 13 after his side beat Espanyol 1-0 in an important league clash.<\/p>\n

He met Irina with a single red rose at the studios of the Late Show With David Letterman, at the Ed Sullivan Theater, where she was a guest.<\/p>\n

Spanish gossip magazine Que Me Dices claimed he proposed after the dinner.
Ronaldo’s representatives have refused to comment on the marriage and pregnancy rumours.<\/p>\n

His management company Gestifute said: ‘We’re not authorised to talk about this.’<\/p>\n

And the model’s agent Lorenzo Martone refused to confirm or deny the reports.<\/p>\n

Ronaldo, who left Manchester United for Real Madrid for a world record POUNDS 80 million, has been dating the\u00a0 5ft 10ins green-eyed beauty for ten months.<\/p>\n

The \u00a3250,000-a-week star left his eight-month-old son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr behind in Portugal with his mum Dolores for his whirlwind trip to the US.<\/p>\n

Ronaldo became a father on June 17 when a mystery mum gave birth to Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.<\/p>\n

His mum Dolores is helping raise the baby between Madrid and Portugal.<\/p>\n

The identity of the mum has never been revealed.<\/p>\n
