KWADWO NYANTAKYI has come under intense fire as the Ashanti Regional Circles Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.<\/p>\n
Thousands of Kotoko supporters in Kumasi are of the conviction Mr. Nyantakyi\u2019s performance is far below average so he must go.<\/p>\n
The Kotoko fans have thus given Mr. Nyantakyi a one-week ultimatum to resign or they would demonstrate against him.<\/p>\n
The peeved Kotoko supporters have written to the police for permit to hit the streets latest by next week.<\/p>\n
Leader of the irate Kotoko supporters, Nana Owusu said Mr. Nyantakyi\u2019s removal from office would help Kotoko to become winsome once again.<\/p>\n
According to him, the Kotoko supporters\u2019 base keeps shrinking by the day since Mr. Nyantakyi became the Circles chairman.<\/p>\n
Giving statistics to buttress his claim, Nana Owusu said the Ashanti Regional Circles of the club has reduced from 123 to just 25 within eight years.<\/p>\n
He stated that the records have shown that Mr. Nyantakyi is not suitable for the position, accusing the chairman of doing politics with Kotoko.<\/p>\n
Nana Owusu alleged that Mr. Nyantakyi is fond of scheming for the down fall of Kotoko CEOs that are not championing his interests.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n
