\n CHRIS BROWN, the 21-year-old singer who was banned from being within 100 yards of ex-girlfriend RIHANNA, has had the restraining order relaxed by a judge, reports the Los Angeles Times. <\/p>\n

Brown was sentenced to five years’ probation and six months of community service for assaulting his ex-girlfriend RIHANNA in 2009. However, he was told yesterday (23rd February 2011) that the five-year order has been reduced to ‘level one’. <\/p>\n

The modified order means Brown is able to interact with the acclaimed R&B star as long as he doesn’t “harass, bother of molest” her. <\/p>\n

Brown’s lawyer MARK GERAGOS has asked Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Snegg to lift the ban following the singer’s successful completion of 52 weeks of domestic violence therapy. <\/p>\n

Geragos also argued that the restraining order was making it difficult for Brown to attend music industry events such as awards shows.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
