\t\t\t\t Leave it to Kate Middleton<\/a> to make her accessories as talked about as she is.<\/p>\n

The hat-loving<\/a> future princess wore another distinctive topper to her Anglesey appearance on Thursday, and this one was made especially for her.\n<\/p>\n

The velvet and feather beret was designed by Vivien Sheriff Millinery, a small company based in rural Wiltshire which makes all of their hats by hand. And the design team was just as delighted to see the piece atop Kate’s head as anyone.<\/p>\n

“We saw it on the Internet and we were extremely happy,” says Maddie O’Mahony, part of the milliner’s design team. “She has quite a few of our pieces and luckily she wore one of ours today.”\n<\/p>\n

The small beret is made of chocolate brown velvet and trimmed with feathers (mostly pheasant) that match the rich brown of Kate’s outfit. It also features a cameo and badges from a military uniform maker \u2013 including, fittingly, a Welsh badge.\n<\/p>\n

Despite the blustery weather, O’Mahony thinks Kate pulled off the piece beautifully.\n<\/p>\n

“It’s a shame that it was a bit windswept, but she does look really, really beautiful,” says O’Mahony. “She’s a really good dresser. She looks lovely!”\n<\/p>\n
